Low Water Temperature |
| Possible Cause | Solution |
| Gas pressure too low. | Checking gas inlet pressure. |
| Diaphragm pinholed or tore. | Replace the diaphragm assembly - Pt. No. PMG 10/12460. Also, perform next step at the same time. |
| Automatic gas valve push rod is sticking. | Dismantle clean and regrease using silicon grease. Handle the push rod with care, do not bend. |
| Slow ignition screw incorrectly set. | The slow ignition screw is positioned above the sensing tubes in the water diaphragm housing. Turning the screw clockwise delays the ignition, counter-clockwise advances the ignition.. never turn the screw fully clockwise. When correct the burner ignition should be smooth and quiet when a hot water faucet is open. |
| Freeze/Corrosion damage to thermostat bulb. | Replace Thermostat Bellows - Pt. No. PMG 10-13486.Do not overtighten thermostat bellows to spacer collar. |
| Thermostat Assembly(Pt.No. PMG 10/14536) jammed. | Dismantle, Clean and Lubricate with silicone grease. Do Not Overtighten Thermostat Bellows screws, collapsing metal spacer. |
| Incorrect water pressure. | Constant water pressure should be 33+ PSI |
| High water flow rate set too high. | Reset the water throttle to 2 GPM. |
