Pilot Stays Lit But Main Burner Will Not Light On Water Flow

Possible Cause Solution
Center (Pilot) Button Full gas lever not properly positioned. Depress full gas lever tab to allow center (Pilot) button to come out flush with other two buttons.
Incorrect water pressure. Insure that constant water pressure is above 33 PSI. Set well system pressures Min-35 PSI / Max 55 PSI.
Low Water flow caused by blocked water screen or improperly set water throttle. Clean the debris from the inlet cold water screen and reset water throttle to achieve 2 GPM flow.
Faulty diaphragm. Replace the diaphragm assembly - Pt No. PMG  10-12460.
Automatic gas valve push rod that the diaphragm pushes is dirty or jammed. Dismantle clean and regrease using silicone grease. Handle the push rod with care, do not bend.
Slow ignition screw incorrectly set.(This is located on the diaphragm housing above the left sensing tube entry port. Turning the screw clockwise delays the ignition, counter-clockwise advances the ignition. Never turn the screw fully clockwise and leave it. When correct the burner ignition should be smooth and quiet when a hot water faucet is opened. To set, turn fully clockwise to stop and then turn back (counterclockwise) 1 1/4 turns.
Thermostatic Slide Valve Sticking. ( Pt. No. PMG 10 / 14536) Dismantle, Clean and Lubricate with silicone grease.  Do Not Overtighten Thermostat Bellows screws, collapsing metal spacer.
